George Alan Case

George Alan Case - George comes to the Drag Racing Hall of Fame with many years of experience in drag racing having run a successful business/program at Maple Grove Raceway for over twenty plus years. In late 2007, Case left Maple Grove Raceway and was hired by Susan Moroso as part of the executive management team that redesigned the fabled Moroso Motorsports Park now called Palm Beach international Raceway. Case was effective in bringing many of the NHRA Pro teams to the track for testing during the off season. The track is one of the few all concrete race surfaces in the country. Case’s next project was at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, UAE bringing his skills to the Middle East and being part of the completion and fine tuning of the ultra-modern racing facility. Case brought Penhall Company to the UAE to mill the all concrete track along with Freeburn Track Repair to polish the concrete surface to near perfection after Penhall concluded the milling process as he did at PBIR and Maple Grove Raceway. Also part of Case’s duties at Yas Marina Circuit was to work along with DSR (Don Schumacher Racing) with the development of the two Top Fuel dragster teams owned by Yas Marina Circuit and driven by Tommy Johnson, Jr. and Rod Fuller along with procuring the trucks, cars and equipment for the race teams and five Super Comp style dragsters from Undercover Chassis that are used at the Yas Driving School.

He attended City College of New York and New York University majoring in Engineering and English.

Case credits his success in motorsports to his engineering background along with great working relationships with the NHRA and love for the sport!
